Anne Rizvi (she/her)

Budget & Office Director | gpssbs@uw.edu

Anne is a second year MPA student at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, and is an international student from Karachi, Pakistan. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and Psychology from Mount Holyoke College. In her free time, Anne loves trying out new coffee shops in Seattle, reading, and spending time with friends!

Claudia Chan (she/her)

Claudia is in her second year of the Master of Architecture program after completing an undergraduate degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Wisconsin. She grew up in the area on Bainbridge Island. Outside of school she loves watching movies, hiking, thrifting, and photography!

Maitri Karia (she/her)

Maitri is pursuing her Master’s degree in Digital Marketing at the Communication School. She holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, where she led the university’s primary student governance body. She is deeply committed to building environments where students can discover their passions, build meaningful connections, and develop professionally and personally. Driven by her belief in storytelling’s transformative power, Maitri has explored diverse roles including theatre artist, assistant film director, management trainee, and UX consultant. In her spare time, she enjoys pursuing spiritual practices and reading autobiographies.

Richard Boyechko (he/him)

Senate & Technology Director | gpsssc@uw.edu

Richard is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature working on a dissertation about contemporary science fiction and its portrayal of the environmental crisis. He grew up in Ukraine but has been living in the PNW most of his life now. When not writing or avoiding writing, he enjoys cycling and social dancing, particularly West Coast Swing and contra.

Yujin Yang (she/her)

Yujin is an MPA student at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. She is originally from South Korea and earned her undergraduate degree in Industrial Design and Interdisciplinary Minor in Aging at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Yujin is passionate about fostering belonging and engagement among graduate and professional students. As Community Outreach & Events Director, she hopes to build creative spaces where students can connect, recharge, and celebrate the diverse graduate experience at UW.

Zoe Love (she/her)

Policy Director | gpsspol@uw.edu

Zoe Love is a first year Master of Urban Planning student with an interest in pursuing planning policy to make cities more affordable, equitable, and enjoyable. She received a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Government from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Through an internship at the Washington State House of Representatives, Zoe became passionate about policy and the legislative process. She is delighted to join GPSS to champion for graduate and professional students to ease their barriers to receiving their degrees. For fun, Zoe enjoys camping, National Parks, and social dancing like lindy hop and line dancing.
