SUMMARY:Movie Screening – Mustache
DESCRIPTION:It’s the mid-90’s in Northern California and 13-year-old Pakistani-American Ilyas is facing a major crisis – his parents yanked him out of his comfortable Islamic private school and now he has to face life at public school. Ilyas’ fears about joining public school are made worse by insecurities due to his inescapable\, prepubescent MUSTACHE. Ilyas hatches a hilarious plan to return to his old school – but he must also learn to accept himself.  \nFrom 5:30 – 7:30 PM on Monday\, 12th October\, 2026 in Thomson Hall 317\, come to an exclusive screening of Mustache\, a heartfelt coming-of-age story about growing up in the diaspora\, produced by Riz Ahmed\, Hasan Minhaj\, and Ramy Youssef\, and starring the likes of Athrva Verma and Meesha Shafi. Taste of India\, Alida’s Bakery\, and Qamaria are bringing the snacks\, so come hungry and leave happy!
