DESCRIPTION:Join us for a two-part event focused on empowerment and preparedness. The Personal Safety and Awareness Workshop is intended to instill confidence and reassurance when navigating life on our UW campus\, the Ave\, and the surrounding areas. We will understand how to employ situation-based measures to lower your vulnerability\, recognize proper responses to potential threats\, and enhance your perception to potential concerns. \nIn the second half\, try out a beginner-friendly\, contactless boxing session\, led by women from the national champion boxing team at the UW.
